I am so glad that I got to know Dr. Kim and she was able to help both my sweet Golden Retriever Annie and myself at the end of Annie’s life. Annie was a special Golden Retriever who
was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 4 years old and had her Right front leg amputated. She lived another 8 years and I am so thankful for each day I had with her. Her little body wore out and she was struggling her last few days. Dr. Kim made Annie’s passing a peaceful one for Annie and was such a comfort to me as well. I can’t thank her enough for her kindness during this time when my heart was broken.

Thanks from our hearts and souls for being the loving, kind, and compassionate women you are. After receiving the news that we were going to lose our 11 year old, fur baby G to cancer only 6 1/2 short months after losing our 18 year old, fur baby Zizi, we were devastated! You helped us and G in an incredible way. The blessing you said over him and the poem you recited touched us deeply. We said a prayer for you too Dr. Simpson because we believe you are doing an amazing job, helping people and their companions.

Thank you so much for coming to our home to help our sweet Dallas in his greatest time of need. I was nervous before you arrived because, while we had done at-home euthanasia before, we had never met you. You helped us understand more about his cancer and how much it had progressed in such a short time since we learned of it. While my husband knew we were doing the right thing at the right time, I was questioning my decision. After you spoke with me, I knew it was the best thing for Dallas to let him go. You were so compassionate with us and Dallas. Your call the next day to check on us was unexpected but so very appreciated. We will miss him always but know his last moments were comfortable in his home surrounded by love, ours and yours.

WOW! What an angel Dr. Kim is! My poor Gracie was given some worthless medication for her arthritis and we were so fearful she was at the end of her life. Dr. Kim just left and Gracie is on the new meds so she can thrive! What a great experience! Love Dr. Kim and she really does care for your fur baby! Thanks so much!

I would like to take a minute and praise a company and someone that’s very deserving. If the time ever comes when a loving pet is dying and in pain, let me suggest calling Dr. Kim Simpson. She started Paws At Peace to help people like my wife and me. Our wonderful Catahoula Leopard Dog, Tanner, was suffering with lymphoma. This little 3-legged rescue dog was doing well and enjoying life when all of a sudden he couldn’t get up, had a hard time breathing, and was trembling in pain. He was confused by it all and kept looking at us as if to say, “What’s all this? What’s wrong with me?” I made an appointment to take him to our vet to have him euthanized. Before our 5:30 appointment, I googled “at home euthanasia”. I called Dr. Simpson crying like a school girl. She came right away and lovingly put our guy in a deep sleep before administering the final injection.
Her kindness and calmness was essential for us as well as Tanner. I can’t recommend her enough. While I hope you never need services like this, it’s comforting to know it can take place in a home setting instead of dragging your friend to a vet clinic where they can be apprehensive.
Thank you, Dr. Simpson. We’ll never forget you.

Sentimental Items

Hi Dr Simpson we want to thank you for the sentimental items that you delivered with Boots. They were so heart warming. We put him to rest on Memorial Day on our property in OK with our other dogs that had passed on. Here’s a picture.

Again thank you for being such a comforting strong companion during such a sad time.

Jennifer

Dear Kim,

I wanted to thank you for coming to help us with Gracie last Wednesday. I called you in my time of need…you responded and came when I really needed help. Even though we had never talked and didn’t know each other – I wanted you to know that your responding was a huge comfort at a time of grief and heartbreak.

When I saw that your specialty was for pet hospice and senior care, the term hospice hadn’t entered my mind – but it was exactly what I was trying to provide for Gracie. After trips/visits to the vet and not being able to determine what was wrong, I wanted her to be home with me, and I felt that was what Gracie wanted also. I wish that I had known about you and how you could’ve helped Gracie.
I am so Thankful that I found you and know that I will call you when I need help with George, my dog and Charlie my cat.

Thank you again for the work that you do and for your emotional support!

All the very best!
Love,
-Jennifer
