With all the heavy rain and now the humid heat the mosquitoes are out in force. Our fur babies are at a high risk for heartworms from mosquito bites. It is VERY important to keep them on heart-worm prevention ALL the time. Even if your fur baby is ” an in door dog or cat” they still go out to eliminate, (if they are eliminating in the house then you have a different issue and need to call me) and you still have to open the door so you and your family can come and go from the house. Heart-worms are deadly and very expensive to treat. All it takes is one pill once a month to protect your fur baby.
